(Grand Forks, N.D.) Edgewood Management Group, LLC (Edgewood) has named Ross Huttunen Vice President of Operations/Chief Operations Officer for Region II. In his new role, Huttunen will oversee Edgewood’s five senior living communities in Minnesota. These include Edgewood Vista of Brainerd, East Grand Forks, Hermantown, Virginia and Clearwater Suites of Alexandria. Prior to this, Huttunen served as the Operations Executive for HealthEast Care System in St. Paul, Minn., a position he held since 2000.

Huttunen comes to Edgewood with over twenty years of operations, strategic planning and leadership experience in acute care hospitals, memory care and long-term care. He holds his bachelor’s degree in biology from Moorhead State University, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Kennedy-Western University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas. Originally from Makinen, Minn., Huttunen and his family now make their home in Ham Lake, Minn.
